The Second Accessibility Camp Bay Area will take place on Saturday, February 28. As with last year, it will be on LinkedIn’s Mountain View campus. This is a free, day-long event whose intent is to bring members of the Bay Area mainstream high-tech, digital accessibility, and end-users with disabilities communities together to share information on making web, mobile and other technologies accessible and usable.
The atmosphere is deliberately meant to be less formal than a traditional conference, where the focus is on conversation and networking.
Visit www.accessibilitycampbay.org to learn more about how the day will run and how talks are selected (see the FAQ) and to register.
Beginners are especially welcomed, so spread the word among your colleagues who might benefit from being exposed to the topic of digital accessibility, possibly for the first time.
If you have questions, you can reach Jennison Asuncion, who is organizing this, directly at a11ycampbay@gmail.com.
